CENTER FOR CRICKETING EXCELLENCE

    The Sports School Cricket Academy with Center for Cricketing Excellence provides premier programs for dedicated student-athletes that are seeking exposure and excellence in Cricket. Our comprehensive yet intricate programs include both on-field and off-field development with specialized coaching for batting, bowling, and wicketkeeping. We provide students with insight into the latest in cricket technology, fielding drills to sharpen their reflexes and personalized fitness & nutrition. We also encourage and provide means for students to self learn with Video Analysis and Bowling Machines and understand the nuances of the game through Umpire and Curator sessions and interacting with acclaimed coaches and cricketers who have represented India.

     

    Founded in 2013, Center for Cricketing Excellence (CCE) has been the home ground to provide young budding cricketers with world-class training, amenities and infrastructure, to help them make it to the next big level. CCE owns and manages Chintamani Sports Association (CSA), which is a Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) affiliated team currently in Division 1 in Bangalore. Nidhuvan Gotadke, Director & Head Coach of CCE is well versed with both Indian and Australian playing conditions. He has represented Karnataka for 10 years in various age categories and was a part of Bangalore University and South Zone team in the Vizzy trophy. In Australia, he played for the Sydney Tigers in the first grade for 3 years. He has been the Head coach of the Jain University Cricket team from 2010 onwards and has coached the Karnataka U-14 and U-16 teams. Apart from this he has coached KSCA Royal Challengers Academy under-19 boys team, KSCA Zonals from under-16 to under-25 teams, and Mangalore United and Shivamogga Lions in Karnataka Premier League.

    ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS

    CCE players have performed tremendously well over the years.

    • CCE Junior Teams finishing in the top 8, every year in all age categories
    • Several CCE Alumni have got selected for KSCA Inter-Zonal Championship, in all age categories and some of them also represented Karnataka
    • In 2019-20, All-rounder Aquib Nabi from the senior team represented J&K in the Ranji Trophy
    • Ashutosh S from the U-16 team of CSA became the highest wicket-taker by far in the U-16 league
