IPL 2021 Auction: All you need to know about

The IPL 2021 auction held at Chennai on 18th of February and all the 8 teams are made some additions to their squad. The auction started with former Rajasthan Royals skipper Steve Smith who got sold to Delhi Capitals for ₹2.2 crore. But everyone’s mind blowed when Glenn Maxwell’s name was announced. Chennai Super Kings were clinched in an intense bidding war with Royal Challengers Bangalore for the Australian but eventually RCB bought Maxwell for ₹14.25 crore. Rajasthan Royals bought Chris Morris for ₹16.25 crore which is the highest bid ever in IPL history. A total of 164 Indian players, 125 overseas players and 3 players from Associate Nations were part of the VIVO IPL 2021 Auction in Chennai.
