The Sports School is the first and only institution in India that integrates sports and academics to contribute to the overall development of our students into well-rounded professionals in the world of sports. The Sports School offers an educational curriculum that, instead of just including sports, has academics built around sports. We encourage our students, from Grade 1 to Post Graduation, to balance their pursuit for both sporting and academic excellence. It was established with the vision to inspire young sports enthusiasts and support professional athletes to pursue their passion without having to let go of academic education.

Found in 2019, The Sports School is a Kalpen Ventures initiative, in association with Jain Group Of Institutions(JGI), a 28-year-old educational conglomerate, aims for a holistic approach to educate and guide students. JGI’s alumni include over 10+ Arjuna, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Padma Shri, and Padma Bhushan Awardees and 300+ sportsperson of International and National repute.

The emergence of Indian athletes in several different sports has solidified the notion that sports are no longer an extracurricular activity. Instead, it is a viable career option for those who want to pursue their passion of being a sports professional. Despite this significant paradigm shift happening in the country, parents still face the difficult decision of letting their children pursue a career in sports as the traditional education system is not flexible enough to balance both sports and academics. This ultimately takes a toll on either their academic qualifications or force them to quit their sporting dreams altogether.

The Sports School’s innovative programs are designed to equip the students with tools that support them in becoming well-rounded professionals in the world of Sports, by putting equal emphasis on both Sports and Academics. The comprehensive yet intricate curriculum doesn’t adhere to the popular opinion that sports and academics are two different ends of the spectrum. Instead, it has been weaved in a manner that both young sports enthusiasts and professional athletes get to pursue a career in sports with the best possible training and mentorship while getting academically qualified at the same time.

Sports that are currently offered to the students at The Sports School are Football, Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, and Tennis. All the sports have varied program structures along with a potential career path that students are encouraged to take up if they want to build a stable career in their sport. Students are mentored, coached, and trained by some of the most esteemed and globally acclaimed athletes to get the best possible knowledge and skills. The Sports School strives to provide students with a unique development opportunity through exposure to established coaches with proven training techniques and focus on every nuance of the game.
